This book is for middle grade （girls） and is modern fantasy。 This book felt like my middle school years to a T。 I was so worried about everything and felt like girls were never having my back when they were supposed to。 I had such a hard time fitting in and felt like such an outsider。 I think every girl could relate to at least one part of the story。 I really loved reading this book。

When I was younger I LOVED this series。 Its great for beginners。 My mom really hates nicki because she called her mom brain dead in the first book。 I just thought I would read something easy。
